A 4-week training series for high-energy, easily frustrated, or reactive dogs. Some dogs need more than a walk. They need direction, fulfillment, and structured outlets that meet their instinctive and emotional needs. When those needs go unmet, dogs become overstimulated, frustrated, reactive, or unable to settle.
Channel the Drive is a transformative 4-week class designed to help dogs release energy in healthy ways while learning the obedience, neutrality, and self-regulation skills needed for daily life. This is not a play-based free-for-all. This is structured, intentional work that teaches your dog how to move from chaos to clarity, and from overwhelm to confidence.
Each week, we introduce one or more controlled, instinct-fulfilling outlets which are chosen to help your dog release energy safely, productively, and with purpose. Dogs do not need to enjoy toy play to join — we include food-based, scent-based, movement-based, and confidence-building outlets for all personalities and breeds.
Alongside outlets, we practice:
Neutrality around other dogs
Focus + obedience during arousal
Impulse control
Recall foundations
Leash manners
On/off switch training
Your dog learns to use their brain before, during, and after moments of excitement — an essential skill for reactive and high-drive dogs.
Relationship + Handler Skills:
Understand your dog’s energy and drive
Build engagement that actually works
Reward strategically
Prevent frustration and reactivity
Communicate with clarity and confidence
The goal isn’t just a tired dog — it’s a fulfilled dog who can listen, think, and settle.
